Data deletion policy

How an authorized customer can request deletion of a Workspace, research Agent, public evidence, generated output, provider connection, or contact record.

Effective version: 2026-07-29· Service operator: Shopcue

1. Who may request deletion

A Workspace owner or authorized business representative may request deletion of an account, Workspace, research Agent, normalized public evidence, competitor seed, generation output, provider connection, or business-contact record. Shopcue verifies identity and authority before destructive action so one collaborator cannot erase another customer's accumulated research.

2. How to request it

Use the form below or the legal contact shown by Shopcue. Include a monitored work email, company, Workspace or Agent reference, and exact scope. Do not send passwords, provider keys, customer PII, private analytics, identity documents, or copyrighted source files with the request.

3. Archive, disconnect, and delete are different

  • Archive Agentremoves it from active capacity but preserves its evidence, decisions, Recreate lineage, and Memory.
  • Disconnect providerstops future collection and removes or invalidates stored authorization where applicable; it does not rewrite historical evidence.
  • Deleteremoves verified operational scope from primary systems after applicable retention exceptions are resolved.

4. Data Shopcue can remove

  • Account and Workspace membership within the verified request scope.
  • Product Fingerprints, Research Lenses, research runs, normalized public observations, Pattern memberships, creator candidates, and competitor product records.
  • User decisions, Recreate prompts, generation jobs, generated outputs, and Agent Memory events, subject to required security or legal evidence.
  • Provider credentials or operation references, invitations, API credentials, and active access links.
  • Business-contact and private-beta qualification records when they are no longer required.

5. Third-party public sources

Deleting Shopcue's normalized evidence does not delete the underlying public Shopify, TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube content from its original platform. A rights holder must use that platform's process to remove the source asset. Shopcue can remove its stored link, normalized fields, analysis, and derived memberships within the verified scope.

6. Records that may remain

Shopcue may retain minimized consent-version, suppression, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, provider-receipt, and legal evidence when necessary to establish what happened, meet obligations, honor opt-outs, or prevent abuse. Retained records are not used to resume deleted research or commercial outreach.

7. Backups and confirmation

Deleted data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until provider backup schedules expire. After identity, authority, scope, dependencies, and retention exceptions are resolved, Shopcue confirms completion or explains which limited records remain and why. Ambiguous requests are narrowed before deletion.

See the Privacy Policy for categories and uses, and the Security page for current controls.

Submit a legal or privacy request

Use a monitored company email. Submission does not prove identity, authority, or deletion scope; Shopcue verifies those before destructive action.
